To register for SBSeg 2025, visit https://centraldesistemas.sbc.org.br/ecos/sbseg2025

Registration for SBSeg 2025, in any of the categories, will entitle you to participate in technical sessions, lectures, tutorials, panels, mini-courses, and workshops. In addition, registration will allow you to participate in the Hackathon.

Registration fees for SBSeg 2025 are listed below. Students and professionals who are not SBC members can join (or renew their membership) during the registration process with a discount on the non-member registration fee.

Registering with an SBC membership is the most advantageous option for non-SBC members, as they pay less than the non-member option and still become an SBC member (visit the SBC website and see why you should become a member).

At the time of registration, for categories that require proof of membership, you will be required to upload proof of your chosen category. Verification of this document can take up to 1 business day. Payment methods will only be released after validation by SBC staff. Registrants will receive informative emails throughout the SBSeg 2025 registration process.

Payment methods

Registration fees may be paid by bank slip, credit card, debit from a Banco do Brasil account, purchase order, billing, or PIX, through the registration system. Registrations may be made until September 4, 2025 (the last day of SBSeg 2025), but payments by debit and bank slip will close on August 27, 2025. After this date, it will be possible to pay by credit card, PIX, purchase order, and billing until September 4, 2025.

Registration by purchase order and billing: The participant must access the registration system and register, selecting the payment method “purchase order” or “billing” and clicking on pay. The system will provide the necessary information that must be included in the purchase order or billing request.

Cancellation Policy

Until August 18, 2025, you can refund 70% of the amount paid for registration in SBSeg 2025. After this date, there will be no refund of any amount paid. The policy applies to both the cancellation of registration and the cancellation of any additional activity. To request cancellation, you must send an email to [email protected].

Authors

For each paper accepted for publication in the following SBSeg2025 events: Main Track, Industry Track, Minicourses, Tools Show, WTICG, WTE, WECS, WQuSec, and WGID, one of the authors must register for the event as a PROFESSIONAL or STUDENT in order to guarantee publication in the SBSeg 2025 annals. In the case of registration as a STUDENT, it is necessary to pay an additional publication fee, 1 (one) per paper. For PROFESSIONALs, each registration entitles the author to publish 2 (two) papers. Authors who have more than 2 papers accepted must pay a new publication fee (limited to 4 publications per registration). The publication fee is R$ 140.00 (one hundred and forty reais).

For each paper accepted for publication in WTICG, a student author must register. Please note that registration at WTICG is free for the first author of each accepted paper.

Submission of the final version in JEMS3

In order to avoid delays in the production process of the SBSeg proceedings, we need authors to follow the instructions below.

1. One of the authors must submit the registration fee together with the final (camera-ready) version. Submit before the final version, if possible.
2. One of the authors must submit the publication authorization form: https://www.sbc.org.br/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Autoriza-o-de-Publica-o-CC-BY-4.0-WICS-2020.pdf. All authors must be listed as assignors. The object field must contain the title of the paper according to the final version.  The vehicle field should read “XXV Simpósio Brasileiro de Ciberseg (SBSeg 2025)”. Only one author needs to sign (on behalf of all). Submit before the final version, if possible.
3. One of the authors must submit the image and voice usage assignment term: https://www.sbc.org.br/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Termo-de-cessa-o-de-uso-de-imagem-e-voz-SBC_v14102020.pdf. The document must be signed (electronically or digitally). The event field should read “XXV Brazilian Cybersecurity Symposium (SBSeg 2025)”. Submit before the final version, if possible.
4. One of the authors must submit the final version according to the specific instructions for each SBSeg activity, defined in the respective calls.

Submission of Article, Minicourse, or other submissions to SBSeg 2025 calls

In addition to paying the registration fee, the presentation of the work is mandatory, at risk of exclusion from the SBSeg 2025 annals and the SBC Content Portal (SOL), if the presentation is not made.
